Rockin’ A New Block: IRT helps Make It Right Rebuild New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward

IRT is now helping the Make It Right
foundation with all of their Apparel and Accessories. All items are earth conscious, organic in origins with proceeds that support a great program.

More than 4,000 homes in New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward were destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Brad Pitt founded Make It Right to build affordable, green, storm resistant homes for families New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward. Notable architects from around the world contributed their designs and construction began in March 2008.

Today the Lower 9th Ward is coming back to life as families return to new homes. Make It Right has also developed education and training programs focused on green design and construction and is planning projects in other communities around the US. IRT Helps AOL Get Noticed at Outside Lands Music Festival

IRT loaded AOL up with many products for 2010's Outside Lands Music Festival...

Ticket Pouches, Bags, Chapsticks, Pillows, Lanyards, Fleece Blankets, Visors, Tees & Tanks all made a splash, but the most sought after item was actually an Acrylic Tumbler. The printed 16 oz Acrylic Tumbler was the envy of all those who were not able to grab one before they were gone.

IRT was excited to play a role in the event and quench some thirst while we were at it.

The Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival is set to take place in San Francisco's historic Golden Gate Park August 14 & 15, 2010 with dozens of bands and attractions. From singer-songwriters to DJs, jazz acts and cutting edge rock bands, all major music movements will be celebrated alongside a host of local musicians, food vendors and visual artists representing San Francisco's vibrant cultural community.

The IRT Art department was excited to be a part of the campaign where they were allowed to showcase their edgy tag lines and sharp eye-catching visuals.

Ronald Lee Ermey (born March 24, 1944) is a retired U.S. Marine Corps drill instructor and a Golden Globe Award-nominated actor.

Ermey had often played the roles of authority figures, such as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in Full Metal Jacket, Mayor Tilman in the Alan Parker film Mississippi Burning, Bill Bowerman in Prefontaine and Sheriff Hoyt in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake.

He has hosted two militainment programs on the History Channel: Mail Call, in which he answered viewers' questions about various militaria both modern and historic; and Lock N' Load with R. Lee Ermey, which focuses specifically on the development of different types of weapons.

IRT was happy to be a part of the extremely succesful Red Dead Redemtion game release!

The RDR Game, released in June by Rockstar has a wild west theme that IRT was able to have fun with. In addition to printed T's we also developed and produced a custom Dynamite Candle in a full color custom Packaging, Decks of Poker Cards, Bandannas, Custom Soap, Stickers, Dice and much more.
